My research analyzes how folkloric figures disrupt narratives and provide insight into historical moments.
Folkloric figures are reflections of their historical and cultural moments, revealing fears, anxieties, and desires of a specific time, place, and people. These figures are revised and revisited and forwarded in different media through time.
My teaching seeks to best serve my students where they are and disrupt traditional narratives about what teaching and literature looks like.

My Plan for Afghanistan
A friend suggested this: we'll drop Nehi on the country and then run. If her past performance is any indication, I think it's a good plan, and would be cheap- she works for Cheerios.
